On the eve of two important aviation activities: AEROCONGRESS-2018 and the XI International Airspace Salon AVIASVIT-XXI, meeting of the heads of AAUCA and the International Exhibition Center in Kyiv (IEC) was held to discuss cooperation issues in the organization of events held with the participation of both organizations.
On September 6, 2018, the heads of the AAUCA, at the invitation of the IEC leadership, visited the International Exhibition Center in Kyiv to familiarize with the activities and establish cooperation.
During the dialogue, representatives of AAUC and IEC exchanged views on the development of cooperation in organizing events and attracting investments in key sectors such as aircraft, aircraft engineering, energy, environment, IT industry, tourism.
As a result of the meeting, a memorandum on bilateral cooperation was signed, which envisages promoting stakeholder participation, dissemination of information on events, mutual assistance in planning and organizing them, and broadening contacts between the participants of the aviation market and producers.
Within the framework of the memorandum, a multi-level partnership will also be implemented, which includes, among other things, the exchange of knowledge and experience, the organization of business meetings, seminars and activities of the AUCAA in the premises of the IEC.
The International Exhibition Center in Kyiv opened in 2002 and has a total area of 58,000 square meters. total area, including 28 000 sq.m. exhibition Over the past 3 years, the IEC has visited more than 2 million visitors. In 2017, the International Song Contest EUROVISION - 2017 was organized and successfully conducted.
The memorandum of cooperation was signed by the President of the AAUCA Petro Lypovenko and Director General of the IEC Anatoly Tkachenko.
