On 19 July 2025, at the invitation and under the organisation of the US Department of Commerce for SABIT programme graduates, the management of the Central Asia Association of Airports of Ukraine (President P.I. Lypovenko (SABIT-2012), Vice-President O.G. Franchuk (SABIT-2024)) took part in the conference ‘Innovations for the Future: Navigating Business in the Digital Age,’ which was held in the comfortable and well-equipped premises of the "Rus" Hotel.
The conference was held in a roundtable format with mixed communication - online (foreign speakers joined) and offline - and consisted of four sessions:
- Navigation in the world of new technologies;
- Digital marketing: stories that sell;
- Trust in technology: strengthening consumer confidence;
- Cybersecurity: how and when businesses should protect themselves.
Each session was interesting thanks to presentations of new technologies, stories about the development, scaling and promotion of business using digital technologies: websites, social networks, mobile applications, the use of and trust in artificial intelligence as a means of replacing human resources.
The following presentations were particularly interesting:
• Sensorama Lab, which develops 360° real and virtual augmented reality programmes – possible applications in staff training (simulation of non-standard or emergency situations);
• Voice of Space – on combining physical and digital space;
• FFFACE.M – on programmes that provide video as interactive mirrors and add their own augmented reality animation;
• U-Nation – on helping to find common business interests and cooperation between foreign and Ukrainian companies.
We would like to thank Tracy Rollins, Director of the SABIT Programme at the US Department of Commerce, for the invitation, and Denis Kryachko, Programme Coordinator, for organising and hosting this interesting event.
