The management of  Association "Airports of Ukraine" CA (AAUCA) congratulates the team of the international airport "Chernivtsi" with another important stage in the development of the airport!

The municipal enterprise Chernivtsi International Airport reports that in connection with the commissioning of the light-signal equipment of high-intensity lights of the SSO VVI-1 at the Chernivtsi airfield, precise approach is being made for the first category of ICAO landing with both courses. Thus, the airport became the eighth airport in Ukraine, which provides a landing event in the category of ICAO. This will, at least, reduce the number of delays and cancellations of flights due to low visibility or cloudiness during the fog season.
