Representatives of the Association of Civil Aviation Airports of Ukraine (AAUCA) were invited to the event dedicated to the report of the SASU Chairman Oleksandr Bilchuk.
The event was attended by AAUCA President Petro Lipovenko and Chairman of the AAUCA Committee on Strategic Development and International Relations Oleksandr Cherepanov.

What I would like to note is that the SAAU is working within its capabilities and fulfilling its functions.
It was nice to hear the highly professional, competent answers of the Chairman to the questions asked with references to documents, clauses and paragraphs that specify regulatory standards both international and Ukrainian. I would also like to know what planned work on the implementation of European regulations has not been completed, who failed to fulfill their duties and what responsibility they have incurred?
AAUCA has repeatedly appealed to the Ministry and the State Aviation Administration regarding problems with regulatory documentation, in particular, in the field of fueling complexes and other areas of airport activities. Some regulations adopted during the Soviet era are still in use.
Also, in our opinion, the management of the SAAU needs to be more authoritative and take more initiative in addressing the central legislative and executive authorities to resolve urgent issues of the aviation industry. It is unfortunate that such an advanced and responsible industry as aviation does not receive sufficient attention from the leadership of the relevant ministry and other CAAs.
