On 15.03.2024, at the National Transport University, an applicant for the status of Doctor of Technical Sciences, a friend with whom he did a lot of useful things for the state and its residents, Oleksandr Krasnoshtan, defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Scientific foundations for the formation of a strategy for innovative development of the country's transport system". Only those who are practically responsible for the development of the transport system and its sectoral components can say how relevant this topic is. We, along with the head of the Strategic Development and International Relations Committee of the Association of Ukrainian Airports Civil Aviation (AAUCA), Oleksandr Cherepanov, at the invitation of the future doctor, participated in the Academic Council meeting, supporting with our speeches and communication with the participants. We realized where, with whom, on what basis, and by what model it is necessary to develop real (not declarative) strategies for the development of the transportation system as a whole and in individual industries.

We are grateful to fate that on the path of life there are such friends who can think, develop and implement innovations so necessary for the development of the country. We know that they are capable of more and will be able to achieve their goal.
