In our opinion, in the period of implementation in Ukraine of the requirements of the Common Aviation Area Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, as well as reconstruction and modernization of airports, it will be very important and useful to get acquainted with best practices, special equipment and latest technologies, construction and operation of the world's leading countries.
To this end, the management of the Association "Airports of Ukraine" of Civil Aviation (AAUCA) organizes a meeting of the aerodrome technical committee, section "Airfield surfaces and its maintenance" to be held on February 16, 2022 at the ICAO Training Center (ICAO) International Airport Boryspil.
The program of the event includes acquaintance with the latest equipment and technologies for determining the specific strength of airfield surfaces (PCN), as well as modern special equipment for keeping airfield surfaces in working order throughout the year.
Well-known foreign experts are invited to the meeting - Professor of the University of Pisa Alexandro Maradi, who will talk about airfield surfaces management systems using modern stationary and mobile equipment, as well as domestic scientists and practitioners in the field of aerodrome operation, airport directors, their deputies for aerodrome technical support and heads of services of the aerodrome-technical complex, as well as representatives of State Aviation Administration of Ukraine, MIU, Ukravtodor, design, construction organizations, manufacturers of special machines and equipment.
We are very grateful to the management of Boryspil International Airport for their support in holding the event, providing the premises and the opportunity to get acquainted with the special machinery and equipment used at the airport for maintenance of airfield surfaces.
We hope that the event will be held in a constructive business environment and will bring relevant results.
It is very important to study and adopt the experience of colleagues in the period of transition to European standards
