Timely support and discussion of current issues of the airport

15.07.20р. President of the Association "Airports of Ukraine" of Civil Aviation (AAUCA) Petro Lipovenko with a group of specialists visited the International Airport "Kharkiv" and met with its leadership.

It is during this period that air traffic is resumed at the airport after quarantine measures, and plans are being made to increase them, at least to last year's volumes. As it became known, according to the results of the meeting and discussion of the current situation, such optimism is present in the airport management. Currently, everything for the safe service of passengers and aircraft at the airport is available, effective negotiations are underway with airlines and tour operators. At the same time, the inspection of the airfield once again confirmed the shortcomings of previous years, which since the preparation of the airport for EURO 2012 (some important infrastructure facilities (emergency rescue station, sewage treatment plants, perimeter patrol road, airfield fence) and not This is the direct responsibility of the Agency for Infrastructure Projects, which is now directly subordinated to the IMU, and such shortcomings remain in the Danylo Halytskyi Lviv State Enterprise. We hope that the young team of the Agency, led by Kirill Khomyakov, will overcome these difficulties this year and complete the miscalculations of their predecessors this year.

The President of AAUCA also drew the attention of the airport management to the preparation of the airport infrastructure for work in the autumn-winter period of 20/21 years, with pleasure inspected the special equipment for maintenance of the aerodrome.

There was also a constructive business conversation between P. Lipovenko and Gen. V. Vasylchenko, the director of the airport, where organizational issues of reconstruction and construction of infrastructural objects of the airport of Dnipro were discussed.
