On June 18-20, a forum and exhibition of participants of the aviation market took place in the Istanbul Convention Center. The event, which was attended by about 1,500 participants and presented 75 exhibits, was dedicated to the opening of the first line of the largest airport in the world, Istanbul Airport, which will be able to serve 200 million passengers a year.
Today, all infrastructure facilities of the I-th phase, which are three take-offs - landing strips, platforms, terminal and galleries are designed for 90 million passengers a year, other objects are already in operation and are successfully functioning, new technologies are introduced. , equipment such as terminal design and production space cannot please any airport in the world.
The dream of colleagues from Turkey to organize a prestigious social economic transport hub has come true.
As part of the event, conferences were held, with round tables detailing how and why this hub was built, as well as its strategic role in world aviation.
Also, in parallel with the conferences, an exhibition was organized of partners who were participants in the construction and completion of the airport with everything necessary for its functioning.
President of the Airports of Ukraine CA (AAUCA) Petro Lipovenko participated in the events at the invitation of the management of “Istanbul Airport”, who congratulated on behalf of all participants of the AUCCA, colleagues with such an important event and held a number of useful meetings with the management of companies: iGA, Denge, Copenhagen Airport, ICRON, Travelaer, GHAFARI directly involved in the construction, consulting, manning of systems and equipment of the airport facilities.
