In such a difficult period of Russian aggression in Ukraine, it is so important to have mutual understanding, support and assistance from colleagues and partners.
One of the most active members of Airports of Ukraine Association CA (AAUCA), which has been providing comprehensive assistance to its colleagues since the beginning of Russia's full-scale aggression on the territory of Ukraine, the Estonian company Field Services OU, has sent a proposal to install a mobile solar power plant Sun2fold (Germany), which will provide electricity to the most critical and transport infrastructure of airports and airlines in blackout conditions.
The SPP kit includes one 134 kW container and a 100 kW (600 kWh) battery for 6 hours. The cost of such a kit is approximately 280,000 euros + transportation costs. The payment is a 15% down payment, with the remaining amount to be paid in installments over a three-year payment schedule. In addition, for Ukrainians, the conditions include insurance from the German state: in case of damage by drones or missiles, the kit will be replaced free of charge, which is very important today.
It is possible to place several containers next to each other and increase the capacity of the solar power plant. The assembly of this kit by trained personnel takes about 30 minutes if the allocated area is prepared for installation. The containers can be quickly dismantled and moved to another location. For more details, see the presentation attached to the release.
Earlier, we have already presented the proposals of Field Services OU regarding the use of a Finnish tractor VALTRA S374 with a mulcher cutter of the MJH-241 STX series for uprooting and turning trees, bushes and stumps of varying complexity from the airfield.
