The Public Council at the State Aviation Service of Ukraine (DAS) of the 5th convocation is formed, the leadership is defined.

June 12, 2019 The constituent assembly of the Public Council at the State Aviation Service of Ukraine (Public Council) was held.

According to the adopted amendments to the Resolution of the CMU № 996 of 03.11. In 2010, no more than 35 persons who were approved at the constituent assembly should be included in the Public Council (list to be added).

According to the results of voting at the first meeting of the approved members of the Public Council - Chairman of the Public Council, the president (CA) - Petro Lipovenko was elected by the majority (68%).

The representative of the Association "Ukrzovnishtrans" Victor Yatsenko was elected Deputy Chairman, the secretary - the representative of the NGO "Youth Information - Consulting Center" For Quality Transport "Kirill Novikov.

The Public Council is, in fact, the third power to become a bridge for constructive cooperation between the public and the industry regulator - the State Aviation Service. And with the joint efforts of a team of professional experts, it is possible to accelerate the transition of the aviation industry to the European standards and standards, to promote honest, transparent and independent relations for all participants of the air transportation market.
